Using this guide
Terms of use
Effective October 12, 2026. By using OpenVoterGuide, you agree to these terms.
Independent voter information
OpenVoterGuide is an independent community project. It is not a government website, election office, campaign, or official ballot. It does not endorse candidates, parties, or ballot outcomes. Use it as a research aid and confirm your registration, polling place, ballot eligibility, deadlines, and exact ballot wording with the relevant election officials.
Election information can change or vary by precinct. We work to identify sources and correction dates, but cannot guarantee that every page is complete, current, or free of error. Official election materials control if information here conflicts with them.
Personal worksheet
The worksheet is a private planning aid stored in your browser. It does not cast a vote, register you, or transmit your selections. You are responsible for checking your ballot and entering your choices on the official ballot yourself. Downloaded and printed worksheets may contain personal opinions; keep them secure.
Permitted use and content
You may read, print, and share links to public guide pages for lawful voter education. Community flyers may be posted only where permitted; ask the property owner or responsible authority when needed. Do not alter materials in a way that falsely suggests government affiliation or changes the meaning of election information.
Unless a page says otherwise, the project's source code is available under the MIT License in the OpenVoterGuide repository. That license applies to code; it does not automatically grant rights to third-party photographs, logos, or source materials.
External sites
Pages may link to election offices, candidates, service providers, and other third parties. Those sites are operated independently and have their own content, terms, and privacy practices. A link is provided for reference and does not imply endorsement.
Changes and contact
These terms may be updated as the website changes. The current version and effective date appear on this page. To report an error or ask about these terms, contact the project through the GitHub issue tracker. Do not publish private information there.
